My name is Ryan Bialczak and it is my first day here at the Florida Safety Council. My major is marketing with a minor in mass communication at The University of Central Florida. I have only been interning here for a few hours now and I feel as if I have already learned so much. I am looking forward to being settled in and a real part of the team here!
A few things about myself:
I'm from a small town in West Palm Beach called Loxahatchee. You are probably thinking that with a name like that for a city, it must be in the boondocks. Well, you would be correct. Everything is at least 20 minutes away and it can be a hassle to go into town. Living in Orlando for the past five months has been nice since literally anything that I could possibly need is around the corner.
I really enjoy the simple things in life. Friends, family, and food. I like to surround myself with the people I love and make the most of my time. We only get one shot, and we had better make the best of it.
My hobbies include (like most 21 year old guys): Staying in shape and exercising pretty regularly. However I do enjoy lazy days just as much as being active. I follow the NFL and NBA pretty closely. My favorite teams are the Miami Dolphins and the Miami Heat. My dream job would be to be on the marketing team of a professional sports organization.
Recently I have enjoyed watching a lot more Netflix. In recent times I had been falling behind in the TV show pop culture conversations with my friends, so one of my New Years resolutions is to watch more shows so I can fit in again! I just finished the House of Cards series starring Kevin Spacey, and I am counting down the days until season three is released!
